Welcome To Our League

Gateway Hockey Summer League is proudly based in Barrie, Ontario and surrounding area, and was established in 2024 with a simple but powerful idea: Why should elite players from our area have to travel to Toronto on a weekday at 9:00 p.m. just to play competitive summer hockey?

The talent is already here.

Barrie and the surrounding area are home to an incredible pool of high-level athletes. We saw an opportunity to build something special locally—something that keeps players in our community, saves families time on the road, and allows athletes to enjoy everything summer in Simcoe County has to offer.

Less time in the car. More time on the dock. One high-quality, competitive hockey game per week.

That’s the Gateway standard.
