THE SKATING TREADMILL - POTW

Gateway Hockey Summer League Announces Week 8 Player of the Week – 2017 Division

The Gateway Hockey Summer League is proud to recognize Evan Nesbitt as the 2017 Division Player of the Week for the week of July 6th – July 12th, presented by The Skating Treadmill.

Goaltenders often don't receive the same attention as goal scorers, but this week belonged to Evan. He delivered an outstanding performance between the pipes, backstopping his team to an impressive victory with confidence, composure, and several timely saves that kept the momentum on his team's side.

Evan remained calm under pressure all game long, controlled rebounds, and consistently came up with big saves when his team needed him most. His strong play gave his teammates the confidence to push offensively, knowing they had a dependable goaltender behind them. It was a complete performance and a well-deserved recognition.

A special thank you goes to The Skating Treadmill for sponsoring the 2017 Division Player of the Week throughout the Gateway Hockey Summer League. Their continued support of youth hockey and player development helps us recognize the outstanding performances taking place every week.

As this week's recipient, Evan will receive a complimentary Skating Treadmill credit, giving him the opportunity to continue developing his skating, edge work, balance, and overall performance with one of the best hockey training tools available. We greatly appreciate The Skating Treadmill's commitment to helping young athletes improve both on and off the ice.

Congratulations once again to Evan Nesbitt on being named the 2017 Division Player of the Week! We look forward to watching your continued success as the season heads into playoff hockey.
