Gateway Hockey Summer League Announces Week 5 Player of the Week – 2017 Division

June 15th – June 21st

The Gateway Hockey Summer League is proud to recognize Olivia Schick as the 2017 Division Player of the Week, presented by The Skating Treadmill.

Olivia continues to prove that hard work, determination, and skill have no limits. Competing in a division made up primarily of boys, she consistently rises to the challenge and earns the respect of teammates, opponents, coaches, and fans alike every time she steps onto the ice.

Week after week, Olivia brings a relentless work ethic, strong defensive play, and a competitive spirit that makes her a difference-maker for her team. Whether battling for loose pucks, making smart plays under pressure, or shutting down scoring chances, she continues to show why she is one of the league’s most dependable players.

What stands out most is Olivia’s confidence and willingness to compete against anyone. She doesn’t ask for special treatment—she simply shows up, works hard, and lets her game do the talking.

The Gateway Hockey Summer League is proud to celebrate players who lead through effort, sportsmanship, and determination, and Olivia exemplified all of those qualities during Week 5.

Congratulations to Olivia Schick on being named the 2017 Division Player of the Week for June 15th–21st.

A special thank you to The Skating Treadmill for their continued support of the Gateway Hockey Summer League and for sponsoring our weekly player recognition program.

Keep up the great work, Olivia!
